Magazine Cover "Inspiration"

Asher, Will, and I have decided to compose a magazine based off of antique items, artifacts, and museum items, which we all thought would be interesting material for a magazine. I knew that there were certain magazines that highlighted artifacts and items, and I thought that this specific one was interesting and I liked how it was set up.

Panning 

This was my panning shot that I took of a little boy on a swing set. I thought it would be a unique approach to the shot and was pleased with the result and the blurred background and contrast.

 Slow Motion

This was my slow motion shot. When planning for this shot, I knew that the camera had to be steady, but I also thought it would be cool to have part of the pothole that I placed the camera on to be in the picture, as the holes act as a sort of leading lines, and makes the photo more dynamic. I liked the end result of the luminescent form because of the slow shutter speed.

Freeze Action

This was one of my freeze action shots, but I chose this one even though I had many others that I liked. Although there is not much going on, I really liked the simplicity and composition of the photo, and thought that it was a good photo because of that and made me like it more than the others, even though there was not much "freezing" going on, just running.

 Total Motion

This is my total motion shot that I took in my neighborhood with a hula hoop. I liked the way that the hula hoop had a similar design to the background and housing and thought it was a cool effect for my total motion shot.
